Lack of detail. You had to specify exactly: number 11 what exact surfaces of what teeth. Number 12 exact surfaces of what teeth. Number 13, number 14 also. You cannot say 11-12 and work. Needs to be 11 for this particular, 12 for this particular location. This will provide more detail

My dental assistant didn't inform me that ultrasonic scalars were not to be used. She just started cleaning the old fashion way. I had to guess at the reason. I felt as if I was getting a less than optimal cleaning.

It's great that you actually HAVE these instruments. Most dentists won't buy you anything you need to actually do your job. I usually have 2 instruments and a mirror. I couldn't imagine having a whole set of dental instruments.

Tiv, this is a great video. How much do you charge per opg? And still $200 for cbct? Also I’m a practice owner in Qld and I’m confused about the reporting requirements. Do you just write something in clincial notes pertaining to the area you are interested in or do you go the whole mile and send it to someone to report? Does that make you take small fOVs more often? This charting system is used in Australia, NZ and many European and Asian countries. American dentists use the Universal Charting System (it's different and not very universal).

My 2 cents : operators struggling to take good impressions should start from slow setting alginate to master the technique. Then progress to regular set and finally fast setting alginate .
